I know people will be pissed off about what I have to say but believe me the editors saved themselves the trouble of having to delete derogatory comments it's efficent and a good procedure that works. Unregistered - Blah blah blah 11.11.2005 10:12 What is wrong with just letting the people argue with each other? It keeps the hits on the site up so that everyone can put their 2 cents worth in, and it gets lots of posts. Gill 11.11.2005 10:51 Ref #1 There have been a few permanent bans recently. Either the langauge was extremely profane or abusive or there had been problems with the person in the past. I would prefer to temporarily ban someone, giving them a second chance. Ref #2 There is nothing wrong with people arguing with each other. The entire point of the comments section is to encourage discussions. It is preferred that it be done in an adult and respectful manner. The problem lies with the profane and racist comments, as well as the spamming and the posts that are no where close to being on topic.
