SONY OFFICIALLY revealed that its RSX graphic part will be kind of Shader Model 3.0 compliant. You cannot actually talk about Shader Model 3.0 if you don't talk Windows DirectX but Shader model 3 has become the best way to describe how programmable a core really is.

Boththe XB360 and PS3 will offer superb gaming experiances. Fanbois be damned, they will both be FINALLY consoles that are as fast, and able to generate the graphics that a PC which costs more than these consoles can. and do it on a media which can be larger (TVS with HD) MS happens to have the ease of being able to offer mulipul platforms to develop for with one language (PC and XB360) SINCE THEY BOTH SPEAK ROUGHLY the same languages. 8 -

I expect the ps3 to be more powerful then the xbox360 since they coming out almost a year afterwards, but i doubt the graphical diference won't be as much as it was for ps2 and xbox. Both systems wil be powerful but ps3 hasnt proven that to me yet with all them CG movies. I understand is too early for them to put a gameplay footage, remember they are almost a year behind microsoft.But when they do( hopefully on TGS), it better be Superior then anything thats out there to really prove themselves. It's because everyone like the first ones so much they make a series of the games. Halo is a Cool FPS but I have played better I still prefer Team Fortress Classic over Halo anyday of the year. Isn't it bad that the only game anything can think of as being the best X-box game is Halo? I mean if I asked my friends what is their faviorite PS2 Game it would take them awhile to choose which they liked best. But with x-box that's all I hear Halo. Didn't MS make any other kewl games that the fans would remember playing? No one is talking about Perfect Dark Zero, Elder Scrolls Oblivion, DOA4, Quake 4 the new Ghost Recon, Project Gotham 3, Need 4 speed most wanted?? Well all these games will be xbox exclusive 4 about 8 months. And xbox has DOA project gotham, Forza wich many race fans consider better then Gran Turismo with more innovation (damage,awesome custom paint online racing and scoreboards) and dont chime in on that 1 if u havnt played just read the online reviews. I've played both games.Elder scrolls is considered 1 of the best RPG's and has any PS fans seen the screen shots of oblivion holy shit!!!!! can u say KILLER APP Lets not forget Perfect Dark Zero not proven but i owuld bet $ that it will kick ass. Kameo elemnts of power looks awesome i wont mention PS fans leate favorite 4 letter word that starts with a big H.
