Some kind of sneaky sales trick from Amazon.com? Or Sony’s reply to Microsoft’s big announcement earlier today? Amazon.com is already taking pre-orders for the PS3, and they’re selling it for $299.99, which is way cheaper than what Sony has hinted at all summer. Apparently you can’t pre-order them for real just yet, only enter your email address so that Amazon.com can contact you once it’s available for pre-order. Look at Fable vs. Xenosaga episode 2, Xenosaga 2 had better graphics, but that doesn't prove alone that the PS2 was a better system. You want to decide on what system you should go for? Check out the line-ups for games. Go for the one with the most games that appeal to you. That's the only reason I bought a PS2 long before my Xbox or GCN, because the PS2 had triple the games that I wanted to play, but that's JUST MY OPINION! And if you buy games or systems just because the graphics look nice, you don't deserve to be playing video games. There's much more to a game than just graphics. Example: I could have grabbed any bloody PS2 racing game I wanted, but I chose Kinetica over the gran turismos and drivers, despite it being the underground, cheap game that not many people like. Now, you're probably thinking to yourself that I'm an "OMG STUPID DICK FUKKER U LIEK SHATASSSS GAMEZ U FAGG0RTZ" or some teenage internet slang like that, but hey, Kinetica appeals to me more than any other PS2 racing game (Burnout 3 aside). So, go for the games you REALLY want to PLAY. I personally will be purchasing a Nintendo Revolution first and foremost, solely because of the ability to download all licensed Nintendo games from the NES through to the N64 onto the revolution and play them (legally). I heard that, and that's all it took for me. $300 for a legal ROM emulator? Hell yes! So, in conclusion, chill out, stop fighting, because it's all about one's personal preference.
