The Final Fantasy trailer that was shown at Sony's PlayStation 3 E3 unveiling has now been showed to the public at this year's Square Enix Party. When the trailer was showed at E3 Square Enix president Yoichi Wada made it clear that the trailer was just a technical demonstration and that they were not working on a remake of Final Fantasy VII. However, when the trailer was shown at the Square Enix Party a few days ago, which also was open to the public, no such statement was made. This is very interesting and could be great news for all Final Fantasy fans as we see no reason for Square Enix to show this trailer outside a Sony event if it is only a technical demo to show off the PS3 hardware. We can only hope of course, and treat this as a rumor until we can get an official statement from Square Enix.

It isn't 100% certain wether there will be or not but it would be great if they did. Just imagine a fully rendered (sexy) Reno or Sephiroth on PS3. WOOF! WOOF! Yes, i know that suck for all us final fantasy 7 fans hoping for a sequal, but, there will be one, Square have comformed that Final Fantasy Dire Of Cerberus (excuse my spelling if i spelt it wrong) will be the playable final fantasy 7 sequal. You will be playing as vincent, there has been no news of any old ff7 characters, but that might not be true, as i haven't looked up on Dire Of Cerberus in some time.... 11 -

Unregistered - the skeptic 08.22.2005 01:30 I doubt there will be a remake of FF7 on the PS3.When news was leaking out for Soul Calibur 3 I was excited to know that it was only coming out for PS2, but when a bunch of people told me that Dante from the Devil May Cry franchise was going to be the guest star I was doing backflips!I wouldn't mind paying $70 for SC3 if it had Dante in it!Nevertheless,I was informed that Dante wasn't going to star in SC3.My expectations were so high that I've become a skeptic about rumors.FF7 was awesome, but if I were any of you I wouldn't have to high expectations for a remake of FF7.Don't count on it. 20 -

Contrary to most of the fools that posted here, IT IS NOT FF7: ADVENT CHILDREN! This video is CLEARLY a remake of FF&, but just a small portion to get your juices flowing for the PS3. Advent Children takes place well after FF7. There's always hope that the contreversy sparked by this demo will result in a remake of FF7, but don't get your hopes up. And in the meantime, go find a real Advent Children trailer, this isn't it. 21 -

truth about ff7 remake Unregistered - jonathan sanders 12.19.2005 22:06 i have found the truth from an inside source in japan. he said not only will they be remaking the final fantasy 7 game but they will be re-releasing final fantasy 7 (original) on a new greatists hits set , these are the best of the original greatist hits. if you wait for the box set to come out it is said to cost $80 and will include ff7(original) ff7(remake) and ff7 advent children. this also says great things are to come (as in other remakes?) But thought of the day if lucrecia and hojo were sephoroths parents then why in the advent children movie does vincent say to cloud they could make another sephoroth? maybe he was never techniqly born but created from the begining.?
