Over the weekend some pics from EA’s new Medal of Honor game for the PS3 surfaced on the web. The pics appears to be scans from the latest issue of Game Informer, so for the full story and to see the pictures in better quality we suggest you pic up the latest copy of GI.          Add Comment  1 -

Whatever I say. =P Anyway, it looks good...but not great. I'm not really that impressed, and the gameplay of MOH games has gone downhill big time. I doubt this game will ever impress me, though the choice you can make on where to land each level is fun, the game will need alot more than that to get me interested. 4 -

A lot of work went into creating emotional response and the results are impressive. I've tried COD2 on the 360 on a good sized HD LCD TV set and to be honest, I wasn't overly impressed. I had fun for the 10 minutes I tried it, I just wasn't wowed by it. I like the idea of a non-linear approach to mission objectives MOH will be taking. Is it just me or are there just way too many WWII games out? Time to find other subject matter I think. 16 -

The 360 is chocking trying to do Fight Night Round 3. http://www.ps3portal.com/ps3/article/255.html EA has said themselves that by using just 2 SPEs for physics they we're amazed with what they are able to do graphically. Namco, Sega, Epic, and Tecmo have also said the PS3 has a graphical edge. The design of the PS3 gives it the ability to use a PPU which the 360 cannot match. The X-Flop shares 1 Mb of L2 whereas the PS3 has nearly 2.5 Mb. Let's not forget the PS3's main system memory is 3x faster on top of having a better bussing architecture. The 360 is better at geneal processing eg., running Windows and Office. That'd be nice if I need to do my homework on my videogame system. That's the real question everyone needs to ask themselves. I'm going to get the PS3, but not for the graphics but for the games. It is true that the Playstation 3 has way more graphic power than the X360 but that doesn't really matter because the Xbox 360 has good games (I'm not going to say great because their not great "yet"!!!) and just wait what comes out in the future. The same thing can be said about the Playstation 3. FOR ME...Unregistered - SOME GUY 01.17.2006 10:43 For me it is about the games and the little extras that the console can give you (still not announced by Sony). The only games I enjoyed on my Xbox so far are Burnout revenge, Need for speed most wanted and NHL2006. All are available on PS2. I tried Halo2 but got sick of the idiots on live so I traded it in (for only $5.00 at EB games... that is all it is worth to them, seriously, call them). On my PS2.. I enjoy Katamari Damaci, Shadow of the colossus, Socom (2 and 3), Ratchet and clank, and of course God of War. Each of these games can not be played on my Xbox. So for me, Sony will be my next console because I am REALLY looking forward to God of War 2, Socom 4, Grand Theft auto 5, and GT5. Xbox just has no exclusives that I like or want. On the other side of the coin I also think that PS3 will be a lot more than just a console, seeing as how there is a version of Linux made especially for Cell and there was mention of Direct TV to the PSP directly from the PS3. Others may love Jade empire or Crimson Skies, or other Xbox exclusives.. If so then great, buy a 360. Just do not come on this site and bash people by making up things and trying to stir up crap. THOSE ARE PS3 SCREENSUnregistered - green lantern 01.17.2006 12:13 i have this game informer mag and it says in the beginning of the article that those are ps3 screens and it will be a helluvalot better than Call of duty 2....all CoD2 got was a graphics upgrade and AI upgrades..sort of....MoH:airborn will get AI,physics,& graphics upgrades as well as being able to customize the guns.....every stage starts you off in a chopper so you could parachute anywhere you want on the battlefield and complete your objectives from there....its also has 4 player co-op and its online so you and 3 buddies could parachute anywhere and take on multiple objectives......i dont think CoD2 is anywhere near as good as this game will be.... 49 -

I think you're going to see the same graphics & power on the PS3 as the the X360. Only until the end of the PS3's life span will you see the amazing (IN-GAME) graphics displayed at E3 as developers really start to get formilar in utilizing the full potential of the PS3's hardware. I would'nt get my hopes up for the PS3 untill 4 years from now but even then the X360 developers have only achieved a small percentage of what the X360 hardware is capable of so who knows. It's going to be a never ending battle because in 4 or 5 years MS will come out with the Xbox 720 while the PS3 will still have another year or 2 to wait for the PS4 in US & Eorope. 54 -

I can tell you from experience that these screens look like sh*t compared to COD2 & DOA4. I own a 6 month old $3000 PC & make no mistake, the X360 looks just as good as Half Life 2 (for PC) & Counter Strike Source (for PC) which are the best physics & graphics I've seen to date until the X360 came out. They've stated that for Madden there's no point doing a rebuild for the PS3. You also seem to forget that cell can also do graphics and that for example two spe's can help the rsx. Btw can you give me a link? All developers say ps3 is 'a bit' more powerfull, I haven't seen a developer who says x360 is more powerfull, except ms and ati off course. Oh yeah, where's the link for the cgi?
