Last night thousands of video game fans all over the US camped out in front of stores, braving rain and chilly temperatures to get their hands on the Xbox 360. In Seattle, Bill Gates himself showed up at a Best Buy store to hand out the very first Xbox 360 console.
Despite lukewarm reviews from the mainstream press, the demand for the new console is bigger than Microsoft’s 360 launch day stockpile. Many people who have been standing in line for hours have been sent home empty handed. Gamers in Europe can expect a similar situation December 2, so if you plan on getting the console on day one you better get your camping gear ready.
