Residents of Japan can soon enter Sony’s game creation competition. The contest is designed to give birth to new original projects for the PS2, PSP and PS3. The “Let’s Play a Game!” competition (also known as Yarouze or Net-Yaroze) has been running since 1995 with great success. Both professionals and amateurs can apply, and the successful candidate will enjoy complete support from Sony Japan, with all living and production expenses paid by the company, as well as access to equipment and software required to create the game. Sony will also help with putting toghter a development team for the project. Entrants must submit their entries via the “Let’s Play a Game!” website, which will be launched on November 1 2005. Applications will be open from 15 November 2005 - 28 February 2006.
