The launch date for PS3 is finally official. Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. announced today that it would launch PLAYSTATION 3 in early November 2006 in Japan, North America and Europe simultaneously. A worldwide launch was a bit unexpected to say the least; nevertheless this is great news for us Europeans who are used to waiting almost a year to get our hands on Japanese hardware. For American gamers this news is pretty much as expected as a late 2006 launch have been the guess for some time now.
